Job Summary
- Serve as a lead accountant handling month end close process as well as provide explanation for variances
- Handle account reconciliations
- Perform daily monitoring of trade positions
- Collaborate with different departments to support the G&L entries, financial reporting and analysis
- Monitor contract positions to ensure proper hedging to maintain position balance
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
Job Qualifications:
- Strong commodity industry experience
- 3-5 years of accounting, auditing or finance experience within commodity or agricultural industry required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- CPA/CMA preferred
