  • Develop and maintain process control plans, manufacturing procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Partner closely with production and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and implement long-term process improvements.
  • Use data, statistical process control, and lean manufacturing principles to improve yields and optimize production.
  • Support training and development of manufacturing personnel on processes and procedures.
  • Lead real-time problem solving and provide technical guidance during production challenges.
  • Report on process performance, project progress, yields, and improvement initiatives to leadership.
  • Evaluate equipment and material needs and assist with specification development.
  • Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) support for new product introductions.
  • Participate in other engineering and manufacturing improvement initiatives as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with a proven track record of improving processes, increasing yields, and supporting production operations.
  • Previous leadership experience managing or supervising engineering teams, or demonstrated readiness to step into a management role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to root cause analysis.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering, production, quality, and leadership teams.
  • Highly organized with strong project management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while balancing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent manufacturing experience will also be considered.
  • Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, plating operations, electronics manufacturing, solar manufacturing, or similar high-tech manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Candidates with varying levels of leadership experience will be considered based on demonstrated success leading teams and driving results.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: $100,000 – $120,000 annually
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • 401(k) with Company Match
