Technical Accounting and ERP Manager

Location: Northwest Suburbs

Salary: Up to $120K + Bonus

Ready to make an impact in a dynamic organization? KeyStaff Professionals is partnering with a growing global organization to find a Technical Accounting and ERP Manager. In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee financial reporting, manage teams, and oversee ERP consolidation systems.  This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and optimize financial operations with precision and efficiency.

Job Summary: 

  • Manage and maintain the organization’s general ledgers while preparing comprehensive financial and operational reports across departments, divisions, and on a consolidated level
  • Lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, including associated disclosures
  • Supervise the accounts payable ledger and oversee banking and cashiering activities as necessary
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational guidelines
  • Serve as a key point of contact between the Finance Department and IT, as well as external vendors and other system users
  • Partner with corporate and business unit teams to facilitate an efficient financial close process
  • Conduct research on technical accounting issues and implement appropriate solutions
  • Guide and mentor team members by setting clear performance goals and providing regular feedback
  • Oversee the configuration, upgrades, and testing of multiple ERP systems
  • Ensure the chart of accounts complies with US GAAP and Foreign GAAP standards

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • A minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong mix of public audit and industry experience
  • Expertise in ERP and consolidation systems, as well as technical accounting practices
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • CPA Certification
  • Knowledge of foreign currency accounting and translation
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing sector
