Senior Accountant

Location: Western Suburbs

Salary: Up to $105K + Bonus Eligible

KeyStaff Professionals is partnering with a dynamic, growing medical device company in the Western Suburbs to find a Senior Accountant. Job Summary: 

  • Lead the annual consolidated audit and quarterly review processes
  • Ensure compliance with SOX regulations through effective internal controls
  • Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, resolving technical issues with support from the Controller
  • Coordinate the quarterly reporting calendar with the finance and external audit teams
  • Compile and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external purposes
  • Prepare and verify monthly journal entries to ensure adherence to US GAAP in financial statements
  • Conduct and review monthly reconciliations
  • Support financial and administrative processes to maintain compliance with policies, procedures, SOX controls, and relevant regulations as directed by the Controller
  • Prepare SEC filings, including 8-K, 10-Q, and 10-K reports
  • Create cash flow projections and conduct related analyses

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA strongly preferred
  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, with a mix of both public and industry experience in Med Device or manufacturing preferred
  • In-depth technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including revenue recognition
  • Strong familiarity with SEC regulations and filing requirements
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and ERP Systems
