KeyStaff Professionals is seeking an HR Assistant to support a busy, hands-on environment for one of our growing clients. This role is a contract to hire opportunity that is highly people focused.  This role will provide support across multiple HR functions.

Job Summary

  • Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientations
  • Enter and maintain HRIS data, including employee transactions
  • Prepare HR reports and documentation
  • Assist with benefits open enrollment
  • Serve as the main point of contact for staffing agencies and manage related paperwork
  • Provide regular visibility on the production floor to support employees and supervisors
  • Communicate with employees and supervisors regarding HR policies and processes
  • Address minor employee relations issues (e.g., tardiness, performance concerns) and provide coaching as needed
  • Escalate larger employee relations matters to the HR Manager or leadership as appropriate

Job Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of HR experience as an HR Assistant or Talent Acquisition Specialist
  • HR experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Comfortable working around individuals with special needs
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-through skills
  • On-site 4 days per week, with 1 remote day (Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday only)
  • Standard schedule: 8:00am–4:30pm (flexible until 5:00pm)
  • Passionate about supporting employees and fostering a welcoming environment
